Shipping Policy
Effective Date: April 1st, 2026
This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed on https://hairtreatments.ca/ (“we,” “us,” “our”) and shipped to addresses in Canada. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. Shipping Destinations
We ship exclusively to addresses within Canada, including all provinces and territories. We currently do not ship outside of Canada. If a destination address is outside Canada, the order will be cancelled and refunded.
2. Order Processing Time
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding Canadian statutory holidays. Most orders are prepared and handed off to the carrier within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed on the next business day. During promotional periods or peak seasons, processing may take up to 3 business days.
If an item in your order is on backorder or temporarily out of stock, we will contact you by email with the expected ship date and the option to wait, swap the item, or cancel that line for a refund.
3. Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times after dispatch:
- Major urban centres in Ontario, Quebec, and the Maritimes: 2–5 business days
- Western Canada (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia): 3–7 business days
- Northern Canada and remote postal codes (Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut, and remote rural areas): 5–14 business days
These windows are estimates provided by our carriers and are not guaranteed. Weather, carrier delays, holidays, and remote routing can extend transit times.
4. Shipping Carriers
We ship using Canadian carriers including Canada Post, Purolator, UPS, FedEx, and select regional couriers. The carrier for your order is selected based on package weight, destination, and service availability.
5. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. Any active free-shipping thresholds, promotions, or professional-account rates are applied automatically when eligibility conditions are met. The final shipping cost is shown before you confirm payment.
6. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
All products are shipped from within Canada. You will not be charged customs duties, border fees, or import taxes. Applicable Canadian sales taxes (GST, HST, PST, or QST) are calculated at checkout based on your delivery province.
7. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to the carrier’s tracking page. Tracking information may take up to 24 hours to populate after dispatch. You can also view tracking information by logging into your account at https://hairtreatments.ca/my-account/.
8. Delivery, Signature, and Safe Drop
Most orders are delivered without a signature. The carrier may, at its discretion, leave the parcel at the address, with a neighbour, or at a nearby pickup location if no one is available. For higher-value orders, we may require a signature on delivery. If you need a signature requirement added or removed, contact us before the order is dispatched and we will accommodate where the carrier allows.
9. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses
It is your responsibility to provide an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address, an incomplete address, or a failure to retrieve the package from a carrier pickup point, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery. Re-shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility.
10. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Shipments
If your tracking shows the package as delivered but you have not received it, please first check with household members and neighbours and look for a carrier card or notice. If the parcel still cannot be located, contact us within 7 days of the marked delivery date and we will open an investigation with the carrier.
If your parcel arrives visibly damaged, refuse delivery if possible, take photographs of the packaging and contents, and contact us within 48 hours of receipt. Defective or damaged products are also covered by our Refund and Returns Policy.
11. Order Changes and Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel your order, contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been packed or dispatched, we may not be able to make changes. Cancellations after dispatch will be handled as a return under our Refund and Returns Policy.
